Miniature Deck Chairs ~ Photo Tutorial

I suppose I could go and on about the beautiful Seven Mile Beach here at the Grand Cayman as it really, truly is just that stunning. And inspiring. I can just see Bilberry Woods animals sitting on the beach sipping their cocktails and soaking up the sun!

I knew I had a photo of them on the beach and as I was looking for it I came across this photo tutorial that I’ve put together some years ago. I don’t have the materials to build one myself at the moment, but I thought I’d share it here with you in case someone is up for some deck chair making!

It’s a long time ago I made these and unfortunately I don’t have exact measurements for the parts, but hopefully, you can work it all out! If you have any questions or get stuck don’t hesitate to leave a comment and I’ll help the best I can!

Materials: ice cream sticks (I think I used longer versions from a craft supply), a needle and thread (or a sewing machine), scissors, small nails (used in miniature making), hammer, pliers, wooden dowels (I think I used leftover long IKEA dowels!), some fabric, pencil, sharp blade and a pin (or needle would do too).

Bend the nail over with pliers, but not too tightly. Only tight enough to hold, but still allowing the parts to move.
